A virtual internship with Global Experiences is the next best thing if you can't go in person. They made the process easy from start to finish. The company I was placed with was fantastic, and I had weekly check-in meetings with Global. Every week we were given professional advice, asked to express any concerns or questions, and we even had a cooking class and virtual tours of places all over the world.
