Graduate Health Sciences Adventure: Speech, OT, PT in Turks and Caicos

I really was not sure what to expect when first signing up for this program. But I have been pleasantly surprised each step of the way. I learned so much about the culture and history of the Turks & Caicos Islands and met some amazing people who live there. The camp was such an amazing experience. I was honored to share my skills with these kiddos and they, in turn, left their marks on my heart. The government support is unlike any I have ever experienced. The location and beaches speak for themselves. It was so nice to have the opportunity be able to walk right into the ocean post camp! I am so excited to see this program flourish once they get all the tiny kinks of a new program in a new location worked out. I am excited to have made friendships that I can continue to grow and have made connections in multiple disciplines living in multiple states to further grow my professional network.
