About Program

Medical interns will spend five days working with local medical doctors to provide essential medical care in temporary medical clinics that are entirely operated by student interns. Students get hands on experience in medical services and patient care. Students are immersed in a vibrant, unique, and welcoming culture with opportunity to learn local customs and enjoy the beauty of the Caribbean. Travel with interns and medical professionals from around the world. Prior medical experience is welcome but not required.

This is a 8-week program with 7 weeks of remote online training and one week (8 days) in Dominican Republic.
