Ethiopian Hospital Schools

Ethiopian Hospital Schools works within the largest public hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – the Black Lion Hospital. A teacher visits each afternoon Monday to Friday, providing group sessions as well as one-to-one support. The focus is not only on educational support to ensure that the children are able to return to school when they are well enough, but also emotional support. Since our start in January 2023, we have supported the educational and emotional needs of approximately 260 young children and their families.
