The Global Leader Inme

The Global Leader Inme Programme was excellent. I honestly feel I've gained a lot from the experience and would recommend it to anyone, especially someone who is ambitious and adventurous. The programme was well organised and provided so much more than expected, in terms of networking, sightseeing and tools for personal development. Also the hospitality provided by Durgha was exceptional, I really feel I settled in and understood my new surroundings better because of her. Plus I knew if I had any questions or needed advice I could count on her support. As part of the programme I had an internship as a teaching assistant for the duration of 5 weeks, split between two schools. It was fantastic, an amazing opportunity that I'll reflect on many times. My experience on the internship has really set in mind my ambition to become a teacher. Thank you Durgha and everyone else involved in the programme.

Eye Opening Experience

I would recommend InMe as it has been one of the most eye opening experiences that I have had so far. If you're looking to be inspired, find what it is you're really passionate about and make it happen. InMe is the place for you. Apart from everything. What I enjoyed most was the people who were part of the experience. There wasn't one person that I met that didn't inspire or provoke me to think about what I want to do in this world. Each person had a different story to tell. A different dream they were trying to bring alive. There was so much to be gained from each and every conversation I had. It was just really nice to be around people who were passionate about the causes they believe in and chasing their dream. It was refreshing, as you don't meet people like that every day. The friendships that were formed by all the humble people that just made you feel so welcome. The visits to different organisations and talks. I loved Delhi Wednesday's to the point where when it's Wednsday here I say to myself "Oh I would've been at DW now". Really awesome group to be a part of and amazing to see how it goes ahead each week without fail. Taking in India and all its potential was WOW for me. I LOVED EVERYTHING about my experience. Only thing I would change is wish that it was for longer. But the memories will stay with me forever.

Two months well spent.

The program allowed me to choose what I really wanted to gain out of the internship whilst being immersed into new things that I would not normally have the resources and confidence to undertake back home. What made it special was the different people I met and the friendships I gained. Interning at Inme developed new skills and gave inspiration to the types of career paths I will be suited to. Working and living in India was great fun but Inme made it a truly unique experience, therefore, I definitely recommend to any undergraduate.
