I have recently completed my 120 hour accredited tefl course. I have really enjoyed the experience and opportunity to deepen my skills and knowledge in the teaching world. I am a person who is keen to travel in the coming year and I definitely think the the tefal course will open more opportunities for me. The process was very straight forward and the platform was very easy to use at your own pace. There was a great mix of readings, videos and audio recordings throughout the course. I would recommend this course to others seeking to achieve a tefl qualification.

I've recently finished the online 120-Hour Premier TEFL course provided by the TEFL Institute of Ireland, and I'm very pleased by the whole experience! The instructions were not only clear and easy to follow, they were organized into logical units/sections, making it easier to connect the dots as you go along (kind of like putting puzzle pieces together, but actually knowing what you're doing each step of the way!), and each unit with its sections felt totally intuitive as I was going through them - as if I had that knowledge somewhere in me all along! As the whole process was straightforward and easy to follow, I never needed help from anyone from the website/platform itself.

Going through units/sections doesn't require a lot of your time
Tests require a few minutes of your time (if you're focused)

Cons

I wish it was easier to save the course so you have access to the materials even after you've passed your exams - but luckily there's enough time afterwards to save all the course materials you want manually.
I wish at least one live teaching exercise (with fellow students) was incorporated into this course, and not as a separate, extra 10-hour course for which I have to pay almost as much as I paid for the 120-hour course.

I found the course to be well laid out and to have very helpful content to begin my TEFL work. I was very interested by some of the additional reading activities particularly. There was a good mix of readings, videos and audio recordings throughout the course. There were suggestions as to structure lessons with ESL students, which were very helpful. The online nature made it easy to complete the course at a time which suited me. I would recommend this course to others seeking a TEFL qualification.

Accessible online platform

I completed my Level 5 180 TEFL course in January 2022. The course content was great and adequately prepared me for starting to teach in the same month. It took me about 8weeks to complete the course but I was fortunate enough to dedicate full-time hours to this course. Perhaps, if you were working full-time, it may take you a little longer to complete. The support from Jacob, the course director was excellent. He was very quick to reply and gave as much guidance as he could. The platform used to complete the course is really user-friendly.

I couldn't convert by 120 hour into an 180 hour and ended up paying for both a 120 hour course and a 180 hour course.

I recently completed the 30 Hour Teaching Young Learners course as part of my 120 Hour Premier Course. I would highly recommend this course to anyone. It gave me the skills and confidence to teach English as a Foreign Language. TEFL provides quality education, information, and skills to succeed in teaching English as a foreign language. TEFL facilitates this education in a relaxed environment that you can take at your own pace. I feel ready to take the next step in my TEFL journey and hope to start looking for TEFL jobs as soon as possible.
