Price Details
$1,299 based on double occupancy. This price includes all accommodations, in-country transportation, meals as listed in itinerary, entry fees, zip-lining, boat ride, local guide, TVE guide, tips, coordination of all volunteer activities, and most importantly,a donation to the charity. This price does not include international airfare.

About Program

Spend your days exploring Guatemala through its people, landscape, culture, food, and religion. Get to know local communities by participating in meaningful volunteer work in much deserving, but isolated rural villages throughout the Esquintla region of Guatemala.
While not volunteering, take in the culture through activities including fair trade visits, women's empowerment projects, a trip to Lake Atitlan, time in the markets, and zip-lining through the jungle.

Time well spent

Traveling with TVE has enabled me to experience giving back and understanding cultures on a level I never imagined would be possible! I really enjoyed all the time we spent working with Vamos Adlante; our group had the opportunity visit one of their medical clinics, partake in their elderly food distributing program, and spend time with students at one of their many schools! Kelly, TVE's trip leader, was an excellent resource for helping myself and the other passengers in really debriefing and processing everything we were experiencing on the trip. I cannot wait to zipline through the jungle on my next trip to Guatemala with TVE!
