Really cool experience living in Lyon and working with French children

I wasn't sure what I wanted to do after graduating from Queen's University (Belfast) but knew I wanted to move to France and improve my French! Working with MES was amazing because the team is so kind and helpful. They found me the exact number of hours that I wanted to work (15 per week) and matched me up with such nice families, and if I ever needed help or had a question there was always someone available. My salary was around €700 per month and I only worked afternoons (4:45 to 6:45pm) and all day Wednesday. I got a second job in a cafe some mornings which meant I was really comfortable financially. Also there were no sessions during the kids school holidays which meant I had lots of time to travel and visit other places in France. I spent 6 months but wish I could have stayed longer!
