fantastic!

Costa Rica is a fascinating country- I loved staying with a host family because it was great having Spanish lessons whilst being able to talk to the host family in Spanish in the evenings. My gap year diver representative was really helpful. I went in July which falls within the rainy season, so don't expect great visibility, but the diving was still fantastic and I saw loads of wicked stuff. There were loads of other activities on offer aside from diving- my highlights were the canopy safari tour and the guided tour through the Manuel Antonio national park.
