About Program

Our oceans need saving! Join our 4 or 10 week Scuba Diving & Marine Conservation Training Course and you will become a qualified PADI Scuba Diver and also an ambassador for our oceans. Based at a Five Star PADI centre on the beautiful Pacific coast of Costa Rica, you will be trained to upto PADI Advanced Open Water diver (4 weeks) or Divemaster (10 weeks) whilst also teaching you practical marine science survey techniques. During the course, you will be able to contribute to the ongoing reef surveys which collectively help monitor the health of the ocean, and in your spare time, you can explore the country with its lakes, volcanoes, rainforests and endless beaches!

Great Experience!

This was an amazing experience and I have learned so much along the way. The Oceans Unlimited dive shop is super welcoming and there is a big sense of community among all the divers. The instructors give you all the tools to help you succeed and are very nice. Quepos and Manual Antonio are beautiful and have the best sunsets I have ever seen. Staying in a homestay is wonderful and is a great way to immerse yourself in the culture. Highly recommend to anyone interested in becoming a dive instructor!

Pros
  • Seeing amazing marine life
  • Becoming certified as a dive instructor
  • Experience life in a Costa Rican home
