About Program
The Mangroves Protection Program is a 13-day comprehensive and experiential overview of the mangroves and wetlands ecosystems in Costa Rica, it seeks to provide students with basic knowledge and skills on mangroves and wetlands protection.
With an active participation methodology students learn about planting, growing, harvesting as well as conservation through many activities made in conjunction with communities from the region. Intensified by remarkable adventure excursions through which students develop leadership skills.This is a 40% indoor and 60% outdoor program.
Each student will build up on its cultural and global awareness through the immersion in the Costa Rican Spanish-speaking culture and the active participation in local community development projects.
This program is designed for ambitious students, wishing to create a landmark in their academics and launch their professional career.
