About Program

Come study abroad in Dominica in the West Indies with the Institute for Tropical Marine Ecology. The 12-week long fall semester program starts in September. It involves four intensive courses along with research studies all around the area. The courses include Tropical Marine Ecology, Resource Conservation, Organism Biology, and Research Methodology. Students will take the skills they learn and immediately apply them during the excursions around the island. By the end of the program, students will have contributed valuable knowledge of the flora and fauna and helped in conserving the resources of Dominica.
