About Program
The Alpine Academy Semester is a summer school with a strong focus on ecology and nature – a program that will provide students with excellent German language skills as well as guide them to think about a sustainable future in new ways. We will explore questions of humanity in the coming Anthropocene age as well as explore Bavarian traditions in a variety of areas such as sustainable economy, ecology, arts, and crafts. We will be living and learning in one of the most beautiful places in the world, nestled in the foothills of the Alps, and will study not only the German language, but also nature, history, customs, and architecture of the region.
