Forum-nexus is the way to go!

This programs was absolutely incredible, and I can safely say that I had one of the greatest summers of my life! Like most programs, It does have its flaws (ie: paying for internet in some hotels, and I wish that I could have spent longer in some cities), however the numerous outstanding aspects of the program outweight the flaws by a landslide. The staff is fun and caring and moreover, extremely knowledgable, and they take the time to get to know you outside of the classroom, on a more personal level. That being said, between the group of students and the staff, after four short weeks, you feel as if you have become part of a family.
In addition, I had the opportunity to broaden my horizons: inside AND outside of the classroom. By the end of my travels with forum-nexus, I was more culturally aware than ever. I really learned to see from a new, more worldly perspective, ultimately, changing the way that I see the world, and the way that the world sees me.
There was a great balance of work and study time, and enjoyment and exploration, really giving me the chance to see a cityl, and learn about it as well.
To sum up my review, I woukd study with forum-nexus again in a heartbeat. Initially, I was a little skeptical about applying and payig, being that I just found the program on a random website, but I am forever thankful that I took the risk and applied and joined not knowing what to expect. I can whoel-heartedly say: this trip changed my life for the better.

What would you improve about this program?
A few hotels (due to distance from city center, and internet payment)

best trip!

its important to make the most out of everyday and see everything even if you are tired. plan ahead and use the power points they provide to pick places. also the places that are not as crazy busy use to relax and hang with the group.

What would you improve about this program?
the hotels its not necessary to be in such a nice hotel that is so far from the city. its better to be near things

Great Trip

Absolutely loved the trip! Every city offered something unique, and I learned a lot about Europe. Also met some great friends that I plan on keeping in touch with.

Experience of a lifetime!

I attended Forum Nexus last summer. Having never been out of the U.S before, I wanted to find a program where I could see multiple countries in one trip. After doing my research and choosing Forum Nexus, I'm happy to say that it went above and beyond my expectations. The cities that we visited were incredible, and the professional visits we went on at each city were very informative and interesting. You have the option to choose a course from many different options, but everyone partakes in an international IQ class. Through this class, I learned more about Europe and the specific countries we visited than I had ever learned before. The faculty is very pleasant and were always willing to help out with anything in and out of class. You also have free time each day to travel around the cities and see the sites. The staff did a great job of making recommendations of places to visit. One of my favorite things about Forum Nexus was the diversity of the students. You spend a month with students from all of the world which also allowed me to learn even more from places all over the world. Although the travel between each city every 4-6 days could be overwhelming at times, I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Forum Nexus.

What would you improve about this program?
In a few of the cities, the hotels we stayed at sat a little ways out of the core part of the city. Which was fine, we just had to learn the metro system and know how to get to the more highlighted parts of each city.

Once in a Lifetime Experience!

As a college student, I wanted a unique study abroad experience with students who were not from my university, and I wanted to be challenged in ways I never was before. Forum-Nexus gave me all of these things! I had an incredible time in Europe attending interesting classes and professional visits, exploring the cities and cultures, and making lifelong friends. We had plenty of free time to experience all that each city had to offer us and I most definitely increased my international IQ. I could not have asked for a better program! It was the perfect length of time, gave me the opportunity to visit not just one country but five, and exposed me to people and places that I will never forget.

What would you improve about this program?
During the program I learned the challenges of communicating with others without always having the resource of a cell phone! We always knew what we were doing the next day, but perhaps a daily newsletter or something consistent would have helped in communication.

Life-Changing Experience!

I've been on Forum-Nexus for two summers and the third's coming up...this is how amazing it is!

You manage to travel to different countries with people from all over the world, learn about different cultures, take two courses, and have the time of your life!

The professors are great and very helpful, inside and outside of class, and the companies we visit complement the coursework we take so that we get hands-on experience of how the real work life operates.
We even took international IQ classes to broaden our knowledge of the different countries we're visiting, their cultures, language, history, etc.
Forum-Nexus is definitely a worthwhile experience!

What would you improve about this program?
I'd change some of the hotels of last summer, and that's what's actually happening for Summer 2013!

Unrealistic Advertising

Started off day one in Berlin, everything felt great. Great professors, great classes, great orientations. Until classes started.. in hallways or in bedrooms. then there was the highly unorganized staff, the extra hidden fees, and the hotels/motels that were not the hotels that were advertised that we were staying in. breakfast was not included and there was a lot of unnecessary illegal activities going on with the program executive, the person in charge, the founder knew ( partially because his staff was supplementing the students with stuff), and nothing was done, in fact he has him working once again for next year's program.
if your looking for an event that is more focused on parting and drinking this is the program for you, you have to be self dependent and understand that you will learn nothing besides how to be careful with others in the program. oh and the program is not accredited in the united states, schools wont take those credits ssoo yeah
