About Program

ISAC National Teaching Program is a project run by ISAC that provides foreign language teachers (not limited to English) the opportunity to work at some of the largest and finest public schools in China. The goal of the project is to improve English skills of Chinese students and Chinese teachers at all levels (elementary, middle, high school) and develop cultural exchange between China and foreign countries.

Foreign Teachers under this project will have paid winter and summer holidays, free breakfast, lunch and dinner from school canteen, furnished accommodation etc. Upon finishing a year of teaching at your host school, if you have satisfactory performance, you will be able to move to another host school under the project to explore a different province/city/part of China.

I am currently teaching English in a government program in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province. I first came into contact with ISAC whilst teaching in Cambodia. I knew that looking for a job in China and getting all the documents ready was going to be tough. Added to this, I had heard of all the horror stories of people being ‘scammed’ by recruiters. Accordingly, I was determined to find a reliable public school program.

From the get go, Jett from ISAC was extremely professional and he organized everything in an extremely timely manner. Interviews were arranged with public schools that met what I was looking for and he served as a great helper throughout the entire process.

After the interview, ISAC were constantly providing me with information as to what documents I needed for my Z Visa and how to get them notarized and apostatized. After I arrived, ISAC has been in contact with me to follow up and make sure I am happy at my school. ISAC certainly goes the extra mile to ensure you are happy and well-placed.
