What is the CELT Course?

The CELT course is a full-time, 4 week course which takes you through all of the TEFL basics. Cambridge ESOL run the CELTA course, which is an equivalent of the Irish CELT course. Both qualifications equip you to teach English abroad in the TEFL context and both courses introduce you to TEFL principles. The CELT course will teach you everything you need to know about grammar, teaching methods and the English language, so that you can start teaching TEFL with confidence. You don’t need any background knowledge in grammar or teaching!
