About Program
Make a difference in Belize, where 1/3 of its population is under 15 years old, by promoting children’s literacy. You will be helping design and run a day camp for local children that is centered around reading, creating books, and tying literacy into local environmental initiatives. You’ll also have the chance to see a wide range of Belize’s ecosystems, from the rainforests to the Caribbean coast, while exploring one of the most culturally rich and naturally beautiful regions in Central America!
