Volunteer in a Permaculture Sanctuary in the Countryside of Bolivia!

- Cochabamba
About Program
Hi. I am Simon, from New Zealand, and I'm Jessica, from the States, and we live in the outskirts of Cochabamba, Bolivia, in a colorful, indigenous pueblito named Mizque. Our land is 8000 sq/meters surrounded by mountains, rivers, and valleys, and a close enough walk to the plaza. We have ducks, turkeys, chickens, rabbits, a horse, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and still growing. Our approach is to be the light and live in a way that we can thrive and co-create abundance. In our opinion, it is responsible that we all learn how to grow food and support development of resilient communities. We are focused on organic food production and alternative and holistic permaculture practices while connecting with our small indigenous community. Daily tasks include general farm and animal maintenance, gardening, and at times, eco projects. We also enjoy being social and doing things together including cooking, eating, games, beach days and pizza nights.
