About Program
Live within a community in the semi-desert of La Guajira and support an ethno educative center.
Our main goals there are to: offer better education conditions (additional classrooms, dry toilets, library, sports equipment); foster autonomy (rainwater collection, alternative electricity, permaculture); preserve Wayuu culture and the environment (theatre plays based on ancestral tales, student radio station, environmental awareness).
We are looking for volunteers willing to share and develop their knowledge about art, environment, green building, permaculture and want to discover and experience the Colombian wayuu tribes.

Program Impact
Volunteer would work 6h a day: 4 in the morning (art, permaculture, english, sport class) and 3 in the afternoon (building, preparation of activities)
All volunteers are invlved in all activities unless he/she feels really uncomfortable
