About Program
Yspaniola is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to lead our summer camp activities in a small Spanish and Creole speaking community.
Join us if you wish to work in a multicultural team, improve your Spanish, and lead educational and leisure activities with children all ages.
Apply if you are:
- 18 years or older
- Experienced in teaching or working with children (volunteer experience is applicable)
- Able to have a conversation in Spanish and/or Creole
- Passionate about educational equity
- Comfortable living in new environments and interacting with diverse populations
- Energetic, enthusiastic and have a flexible attitude
- Able to stand, walk and be active for a few hours at a time in the hot and sunny local climate
