About Program
Teaching at My Little Red House Bilingual School is a rewarding opportunity for international, native English-speaking volunteers to live and work in a Honduran community. Our staff of 6-8 volunteers also forms a community. They share the experiences of coming to a foreign country to live and work, and they plan classes together, go out together in Ocotepeque, and travel around Honduras and Central America on breaks.
We give preference to candidates with teaching experience at any level. However, we also accept candidates from any background and life stage. At the minimum, all of our teachers have desire to teach or tutor in some capacity, and they must demonstrate a dedication to living and working abroad.
Long-term volunteers (serving 6 months +) are provided free accommodation and meals.
