About Program
Take an unique chance of working with wild animals and exotic plants!
-> The animal centre is a refuge for wild animals like Jaguars that have been trafficked, orphaned by human actions or are in danger of extinction.
->The wildlife refuge also has several types of trees of great medicinal, ornamental or alimentary values. Some are brought from other countries and have lived for more than 100 years.
You will get the possibility of a big mixture of work: prepare food and feed ALL wild animals, plant new and take care of old plants & get in touch with visitors and participate in education on wild animals & rare plants!
The National Park has a total extension of about 250 hectares, 55 hectares of which are formed by the botanical garden.
Basically volunteers work from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. The weekends are free. If you e.g. would like to work a day less, it can be organized with your personal coordinator easily.
