About Program

As we are helping a big number of children through out Uganda, beginning of 2018 we made
a resolution to start planting primary and secondary schools in different districts of Uganda. This was
after realizing a big number of children that needed help from us, could not afford paying school fees in
different schools. Because of this, we are developing a program of building primary schools and secondary
schools

This year we are looking for volunteers that can help with either building, fundraising for money that
can help us build, volunteers that know more about designing , volunteers that can be able to design and plant
a garden in the schools. Volunteers that can help us look for sponsors to help with the school. The school that
we are starting with is going to be located in Kayunga district in Bugerere sub county. There is a land that
we are already fundraising for to buy and build on the school.

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here.
