About Program

Patagonia. An adventure lover’s spiritual home. Rugged, remote, vast, and sublime - Patagonia’s beauty is unrivalled, and the trekking unreal. It’s the ideal place to perfect your outdoor skills. This comprehensive outdoor program in the world’s most scenic landscapes will give you 100% confidence to navigate, hike, climb and guide in the outdoors.

This Argentinian-Chilean-based program specialises in hiking, rock climbing and mountaineering. While this is an Adventure Guide Program, it's not all about the outdoors, there will be cultural activities; sightseeing; personal development & leadership; community & social events; free time & plenty of opportunity for exploration.

This outdoor adventure course is suitable for anyone who wants to embark on a career to become an outdoor adventure guide, or simply to challenge their own understanding of what it means to take on the wild. Patagonia is a place like no other!

Impact

Sustainability

Sustainability is one of the four core components of each Pure Exploration program, where we provide students with the environment to learn about local environmental issues, how to travel sustainably and have them think deeply about their impact and what they can do in their daily lives to affect change.

Ethical Impact

We make a conscious decision to partner with suppliers who are passionate about our students' participation and involvement with them being of a positive benefit to the community. We want our presence to enable positive, sustainable growth for our partners and this mantra is ingrained in the fabric of our programs.
