Experience South Korea on your gap year with United Planet! Although South Korea is one of the most technologically and scientifically advanced countries in Asia, people still seek harmony and balance in all areas of their lives. This idea of harmony in all aspects of life is a Confucian ideal, and a legacy that many South Koreans still hold dear. South Korea has had a tremendously successful recovery from World War II and the Korean War because of the tireless efforts of its people.
Volunteers have the opportunity to get involved with communities in need while on a United Planet service trip to South Korea for 6 or 12 months. Experience the scenery changing with the seasons and the enchanting range of landscapes – from modern cities to ancient temples.
