About Program

As a program participant, you will spend a 6-week summer term in Seville, Spain taking a minimum of 20 hours of intensive Spanish language training, live in an apartment or with a Spanish family, apply a travel stipend to a variety of available excursion destinations and local activities, receive teamwork and leadership training using Myers Briggs AND perform an internship within your academic discipline.

Variety! There are numerous career fields interns can get involved with in Seville, talk to a GlobalEd representative to find one that is right for you.
Options! Students can choose to stay in an apartment or a home-stay in Seville.
Excursions! Interns enjoy many excursions during their time in Seville, including a day trips to Cordoba, and Gibraltar, and overnight stays in Portugal, and Granada.

So my trip was actually a faculty-led program with a professor from Auburn, but this summer I'm back interning with GlobalEd for I figured I'd leave my comments here!
GlobalEd truly did everything to make our experience a well-rounded, beneficial, and unforgettable time. From site visits with impressive companies, to free time that allowed us to immerse ourselves in history in culture, I wouldn't have done a single thing differently, and now feel so honored to get to work with the team that made last summer so special to me.
They are truly the most supportive staff you could ask for, and genuinely just want to ensure that your time abroad is the best it can be.

What would you improve about this program?

It could only have been improved by being longer, but Auburn lengthened it this year, so that part is taken care of already!

I went through GlobalEd for actually a semester program in the Fall. I absolutely fell in love with Seville, Spain as well as GlobalEd. They gave me the personal attention that one would expect with a study abroad company as well as so much more. They made my experience abroad a once and a lifetime opportunity and I cannot wait to make another trip back to Seville to see all the lifelong friends I made while abroad.
