CIEE Semester Global Internship programs combine the value of real-world international work experience with integrated academics in a thoughtfully designed 18-week study and internship program to ensure you get the most out of your time abroad.
Choose a virtual internship program and receive personalized internship placement in more than 30 cities around the world, pre-internship online skill assessment, online workshops with industry experts focused on future-of-work skills, and ongoing program internship coaching and support. Internships are a minimum of 225 hours and can be scaled up to meet specific individual or university requirements.
CIEE Scholarships and Grants
CIEE’s need-based grants offer support to students who face financial barriers to studying abroad. CIEE awards need-based grants based on students’ EFCs and program selection. The Gilman Go Global Grant offers students $750-$2,000 toward airfare, plus $2,500 toward semester program costs, or $1,000 toward summer program costs.
