About Program

Peace Boat US offers an excellent opportunity to gain insight and experience in the civil society, non-profit, non-governmental field, with one of the most unique and interesting NGO’s in the world – experience that will help you stand out.

Due to the global pandemic, we have adjusted our internship program to be completely virtual without losing on the experiences interns gain. Interns and volunteers support office administration, attend virtual events with the United Nations partners as Peace Boat US representatives, support campaigns, projects, and educational programs through outreach efforts, and write news and blog articles about our activities. Especially valuable skills and qualities include being multilingual (Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, French, and Japanese are also helpful), graphic design, networking, photography, communications, public speaking, and very importantly, a passion to support the issues that Peace Boat US works on.
