About Program

The Japan America Society of Washington DC's Japanese Language School (JLS) is currently open for the fall term registration.

JASWDC classes meet once a week for thirteen weeks in the morning or evening starting September 6th. Classes run for 90 min. Monday - Friday 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm and 7:10 pm to 8:40 pm (Eastern Time).

We also offer regular group classes, morning conversation classes, and JLPT prep classes this term. All JLS classes are offered online through Zoom, so you can take your class from anywhere in the world!
