For those of you looking to teach in South Korea, I would definitely recommend using English work.

Michael was really helpful. He walk me through the application process for the visa, as well as, for the FBI background check and what websites to use to get everything apostille. He made the whole process of moving to Korea very easy. I am very grateful because moving overseas can be very stressful. So, it helps to have the support and guidance.

It has been a very rewarding experience so far.

I would recommend using EnglishWorks to everyone who thinks of moving to South Korea to teach.

Back in July 2020, I've started looking for teaching positions and sent my application to Michael. After a few days, he arranged an interview with a school. The school owner was very nice, and the interview ran smoothly. I've been offered a job a few hours after and decided to accept it straight away. And I'm not regretting my decision.

Then, Michael walked me through the visa process and helped me with all the required paperwork. He was very prompt at answering any questions I had. At end of September, I've arrived in Korea, and I've been loving it.

I'm very pleased with my boss and co-workers. Namyangju is located only 40 minutes away on a bus to Seoul, and that was what I was exactly looking for.

After arriving in Korea I was also assisted with a driver to transport me to the hotel where I was to spend my 14 days in quarantine.

Michael was amazing from the beginning of the process to the end. He really works hard to find you a job once you reach out to him. For example, I was able to get a job with one school but due to some last minute changes they cancelled on me. Right away, Michael found me another job which was even better! So I was an assistant teacher trying to find a teaching job in South Korea. I was not optimistic in the beginning because I was overwhelmed and had gone through several recruiters. My partner and I decided we wanted to move to Korea and teach English together for one year before beginning our careers in Australia. We contacted Michael Kim from English Works and within a few weeks had secured a wonderful job teaching together.

My experience with English Work in South Korea has been an extraordinarily positive one. During the recruitment process, Michael Kim worked very diligently to organize interviews for work that was in accordance with my background and my interests. He guided me through the entire process with great care, and with the skill of someone who has been in the profession for a long time, and thus knew everything to look out for. After arrival, my employer did, and continues to do, a fine job of caring for its foreign teachers. Michael was my recruiter. He found placement in Tongyeong in August 2019. This is my first time teaching English and it has been an excellent experience. I work for SLP and teach at a kindergarten in the morning and hagwon in the evening. My apartment is modern and cozy. There is a small, but fun group of expats that gets together on occassion. Tongyeong is off the radar, so if youre looking for authentic culture and to stay away from mainstream expat activities, then I'd recommend Tongyeong. Overall, I'm happy with my placement and would recommend Michael as a recruiter!
