About Program

The truth is, you can get your TESOL qualification online from the comfort of your own home. But where’s the fun in that??

Instead, merge your love of teaching with your love of travel – and get a taste of the English teacher's life while you’re at it. And what a life that can be!

Thailand is made up of over 1400 islands. Every one of them has endless beaches lined with palm trees and one has become notorious for its famous Full Moon Party.

We offer everything you need to teach English abroad. Including an optional teaching position once you’ve completed your course. If you decide Thailand isn’t for you, you can use your TESOL qualification almost anywhere in the world to live the teacher’s life you’ve dreamed of.

Teaching in Thailand

Nichola and David have been so helpful during this process. The journey to getting to Thailand was so much easier and smoother with their help, on my own I wouldn't know where to start. Since I've been here I've made some amazing friends, eaten the most delicious food and seen the most beautiful sites. Everyone working on the TESOL course is so helpful and supportive, the instructors will help you every step of the way. My experience with Global Work & Travel has been nothing but positive. Any question I had or help I needed Nichola was always happy to help. If you are thinking of going on an adventure to Thailand GO FOR IT! you definitely won't regret it and Global Work & Travel will make the process so simple and easy for you.

Teach Camp Thailand

My trip cordinator, Callum was very helpful and supportive in getting me ready for my trip and answering the many questions i had which made me feel at ease as i was very nervous.

My first week of orientation wss fun and unforgettable and the remaining weeks was a great experience. I had a lot of fun at the camp and felt a sense of accomplishment as the kids responsed well to the experience and really learned English well because of the activities I did with them.

I am so happy that i was immersed in the Thai culture.

Fantastic

My trip to Hua Hin, training and teaching abroad was fantastic! I wouldn’t change it for the world. I initially planned on staying there for 6 months but it turned into a year. Global Work& Travel, XploreAsia, really set me up with everything I needed to become a working Thai Teacher.
Everything in the orientation was well thought out and a nice introduction to Thai culture. I especially enjoyed the Thai language lessons and found them very useful long after the initial TESOL course. If you’re deciding between staying in your hometown and teaching in Thailand, you should know that your hometown isn’t going anywhere anytime soon! You’re also missing out on constant sun, amazing children, and all the fresh fruit.

Teaching in Ayutthaya

My experience was definitely unique. I was placed with a really good agency in the ruins of Thailand. I was a teaching in the English program at the third biggest school in Thailand. Our school had over 4,200 students. I only taught around 20 students per class. There was so much culture and history in my town. I made so many friends doing the exact same thing as me which made traveling through Thailand exciting as everyone had similar mindsets. I also became a certified open water diver while I was there. Thailand definitely changed my life.

What would you improve about this program?
More information on understanding culture shock. Other than that, nothing.

Teacher trip to Thailand

My experience with global work and travel was seamless and delightful! They helped through my transition art period prior to thailand. I had an amazing time with my students and an even more amazing time traveling during my semester there. It has really left me wanting to explore more and experience more kinds of programs like these across the globe. I can’t wait to jump on another flight to another country to teach a whole new group of kids and learn a whole different Culture again! I can’t wait

What would you improve about this program?
More thorough communication on visa renewal trips. This was a difficult and confusing time, especially for others that I knew that did not have a bachelors degree.
