Provide Medical Assistance to the Community of Bospo Village, Battambang
About Program
We are currently seeking volunteers to run health promotion workshops with children and teachers by educating the children in areas including hygiene, dental care, nutrition, preventative health and first aid. We also encourage volunteers to help supply health and hygiene items such as toothbrushes, first aid equipment, etc. Volunteers would also have the opportunity to provide general healthcare to the local community.
If you decide to volunteer, not only will it positively affect the development of our children and local community, but you will gain a rewarding and unforgettable life experience.
This project is a cultural experience as you will be living with a family near the school and have the opportunity to experience the Khmer lifestyle. There are no placement fees to volunteer but there would be a cost of $13 per day for accommodation at a homestay and three Khmer meals a day. Alternatively you can stay in one of the many guesthouses in Battambang.
