About Program

Kalkeri Sangeet Vidyalaya (KSV) is a residential school located within the rural village of Kalkeri, in the beautiful state of Karnataka, a few hours from the pristine beaches of Goa. Everyone at KSV lives in harmony with the local community, whose support to our NGO over the years has been incredibly invaluable. Our Volunteers come from different countries and work alongside with our 75 local employees as Teachers, Healthcare Professionals, Activity Leaders or Coordinators according to their skills. They place their competences and passion for the non-profit sector at the service of the community through our projects. As the children are exposed to Volunteers from other cultures, this also broadens their outlook on the world and boosts their self-esteem and confidence.

Being a volunteer at Kalkeri Sangeet Vidyalaya is an incredibly rewarding experience and a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and their families here in Kalkeri.
