About Program
The organic agriculture volunteer program is our most recommended volunteer program in Nepal for those looking to get out into the countryside and get their hands dirty alongside local farmers that will make your soul light up. Working in organic soil can be awakening and meditative and working with Nepali farmer community can be self empowering experience. This program is suitable for you if you love nature, want to get immersed in simple life lived in Nepali mountains in unspoiled natural setting.
Six Seasons
Nepal has six seasons and based on seasons the agricultural works are different. You will work as assistant for local farmers and help in seasonal day to day works. The most activities will be planting crops, vegetables and harvesting them. Some activities will be working in green house to grow vegetables. The working hours are 2-5 hours each day depending on season of work as most agricultural works in Nepal are seasonal.
