About Program
Volunteer BaseCamp has been operating in Nepal since 1998, and over that time has formed countless bonds with numerous, local organizations. With placements focusing on child care, education and medical projects, there is always a need for volunteers throughout the country.
Without a significant language barrier in Nepal, it is easy for volunteers to get comfortable in this country, and with a particular emphasis on child care and medical placements, English speaking volunteers have no trouble utilizing their skills.
Our thorough and unique vetting process assures that our volunteers are placed with a project that not only benefits from their specific skill set, but is also something they can be passionate about.
