About Program

Gain first-hand experience of life and culture in Nepal, by teaching English to local children in the capital city of Kathmandu and the picturesque district of Chitwan. You will get the amazing opportunity to use your own personal experiences to connect with the local children, and teach them life-changing skills that will surely make a positive impact on their lives. You will work with children between the ages of 6 and 16 years old, and whilst your main responsibility will be to teach English, you will be given lots of opportunities to teach other skills such as, sports, story writing or art.

You will spend around four to six hours a day, excluding Saturday, at the orphanage so you will have plenty of spare time to travel and explore Chitwan. You could go kayaking along the Himalayan river, rafting on the Tibetan border, trek round the famous Annapurna circuit in the Himalaya's, or if you’re feeling pretty brave, try the longest free-fall bungee jump in the world.

A reAlly great experience!

I volunteered in Nepal for almost 3 months teaching English and doing women's empowerment! What an amazing experience and great way to give back to an awesome travel experience! Twin helped and supported me from the beginning and my Nepali volunteer house was everything I needed for an impactful experience!
