Wildlife – Environment Conservation & Game Reserve Management
- Zimbabwe
About Program
This is the perfect experience for those looking for hands-on experience and interaction with rhinos and elephants, as well as work with many other animals in Zimbabwe!
Our volunteers live on a rhino conservancy, and will take part in activities including: rhino and elephant handling and tracking, animal population monitoring, tree planting, and on-going data collection and research into animal habitats and behaviour. A big part of this programme is community outreach, and volunteers have the chance to integrate into the local community teaching wildlife and environmental protection in schools. You can also go on day and night game drives and feed lions!
This programme will teach you all about conservation best practice, community outreach and game park management. You will make lasting impact and it will undoubtedly teach you a lot about yourself and your skills. There is also no better way to enhance your CV or boost university applications than volunteering in Zimbabwe!
