Impact

Sustainability

At INTRO our commitment to a sustainable future is a key principle, and the driving force behind our Small Change initiative, which we launched in 2017.

As part of our goal to make a real positive impact to the environment, we partnered with Eden Reforestation Projects in 2019 to plant 10 trees for every booking we received. And as a result we’ve planted tens of thousands of trees, aided reforestation, rehabilitated wildlife and reduced poverty in multiple local communities.

However we wanted to go even further and achieve true sustainability, so in late 2023 we began a new partnership with Path Net Zero to accurately measure our tours emissions, and Veritree to plant trees to offset those emissions.

We are now very proud to say that every INTRO tour is 100% carbon neutral.

Philippines tour 8th of March

This was an amazing tour, and I am so happy I booked it! The sights and activities was great, the people even better, and I always felt safe (much of this because of our tour leader Andri Agassi). No problem was ever to small, and he was always there for everyone. I will forever cherish the memories from this trip. I am recommending this tour to anyone who wants to travel! Although if you are vegetarian, be sure to by some extra snacks for the boat expedition, although there are veggie options, I was so happy to have a little extra!

What was your funniest moment?
It was canyoneering!
Pros
  • Amazing sights and activities
  • Team building
  • Feeling of safety
Cons
  • Could be better veggie options for the vegetarians

NZ Adventure 17 day tour

Have just finished the 17 day New Zealand North and South tour with Jess Sargent and what an experience. Jess has been the most amazing group leader from day one always making sure that each member of the tour got to experience New Zealand to the fullest! Jess always found a way for us to do any extra activities that we wanted to do so we wouldn't be disappointed. I could not imagine having done this tour with anybody else. Jess is an absolute gem of a person and I am so excited to see what is next for her. Jess really did make this a trip of a lifetime and I am so thankful to have met her. She truly went above and beyond for each and every single person. Thank you with all my heart ❤️

Philippines 2024 with IntroTravel

It was an amazing trip experience! We had such a great tour leader, Andri and it was a pleasure to have Kell as a trainee. We did a lot during the tour, and from canyoning to massages, it was all worth it! It was also nice that we got to sample the culture, but also did sporting things and did fun/ interesting activities as a group.

I would like to thank Intro Travel for this experience and Andri & Kell. It was my first solo trip and I definitely recommend Intro Travel.
Everything is arranged for you even if something goes wrong in the moment Intro Travel is very well arranged all and feedback is always welcome for them.

My only downside was that there was too little free time. It wasn't quite supposed to be that way as we had a delay a couple of times....But for next time, I would personally appreciate that more.

All in all, the trip was great and would definitely do it again, though in a different country!

What was your funniest moment?
The moments that we played the game werewolf!

So many great laughs:)
Pros
  • Lot’s of amazing people
  • Over all flexible
  • Great leaders
Cons
  • To little free time
  • Bit to small boat for the expedition…

Paradise and Friends For Life!

I have just finished my Philippines Intro Tour with Andri and can honestly say it was an experience of a lifetime.

Not only did we have two weeks in blissful paradise meeting 14 new worldwide best friends, dining on incredible food and having the best hospitality known to man by locals but also Andri as a leader was beyond incredible; the perfect balance between fun and cool, calm and collected.

He was able to make the process so smooth and accommodating, not a single one of us ever had anything to worry about. I want to put a special mention in for his attitude and kindness. As a group we bonded extremely well, so much love and respect between everyone, and Andri was a core part of that; be it lending out his incredible fins, entertaining us with his singing, making sure safety was priority on nights out, being the loveliest with locals allowing us to get to know them on a deeper level or getting a personal best in free diving (17.5m what?!🤯) and us thinking I would need to take over because he was never returning from the darkness. This man smashed it.

I have had the pleasure of doing three previous tours: Bali, Thailand and Vietnam and each tour has built its own reputation to assume the next will never be as good. This one.. was as good if not better in its own right. From canyoneering to white sand beach snorkelling, sunsets with Andri on guitar to scuba’ing shipwrecks, waterfall photo shoots to swimming with turtles 🐢 every moment was magical.

Would 1000% recommend to anybody thinking of going.
It was that good, I’ve contemplated not only returning but becoming a leader myself.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
Jumping off the highest cliffs I have yet whilst canyoneering in Cebu! Amazing experience
Pros
  • Incredible hospitality from both locals and our guide
  • Fresh, increddddible food
  • The scuba and snorkeling abilities for coral and shipwrecks

Fantastic Tour

What an amazing thirteen day tour, a brilliant itinerary packed with adventures and beautiful places. It has the perfect balance of downtime too.
We had a fantastic leader in Andri, he ensured everything ran as smoothly as possible for us every day and made the trip even better.
I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore the Philippines, especially to those who love the sea, snorkelling/diving and boat trips.
Intro are a fantastic company to deal with as well, helpful with any questions

What is your favorite travel memory?

It’s very hard to name one favourite travel memory, as no trip is ever the same, and even if you return to the country you’ve been before, you’ll always have a new favourite memory!

But if I have to name one, it’s going to be the volcano sunrise hike in Bali! Watching the sun come up on the horizon from the top of an active volcano is such a once in a lifetime experience!

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I’ve realised that travelling with a group is the best way to travel!

Whenever I used to go travelling, I would go all by myself and try to meet new people along the way. But that isn’t always easy if you only have a week or two to spend in a country.

But if you come with a group of like minded people from day one until the end, it changes the whole experience completely!

IT’S DOUBLE THE FUN IF YOU CAN SHARE IT WITH SOMEONE!

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

“Adrian! We’re planning a reunion with the whole group next month! You need to come!”

Hearing that people who were strangers to each other before coming on a tour, are now becoming best friends and planning reunions and next trips together, is just the best thing you can possibly hear from someone.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I would definitely choose the 13-day Japan Adventure!

Japan is just this this country that blends in ultramodern cities, very rich history and culture with some of the most beautiful nature as well!

From the Bullet train ride, to a Samurai experience, Mount Fuji, Sushi making class and so much more!
This tour has all you need when you come to Japan!

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

#SmallChange

It’s our initiative towards responsible travel. We not only encourage people to reduce single-use plastics, participate in beach cleanups, but also support local communities and engage in cultural exchange.

It’s great to see how people start using reusable water bottles, buy locally made products, or teach local people few English words.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

To be a successful company, you have to be passionate about what you do and make sure you keep your employees happy.

I believe that if you’ll keep these things in order, your employees are going to go that extra mile for you and your customers, no matter what problems you’ll face, you’ll always get through it.
