About Program
Storyteller: Adventures in Filmmaking from Mountain Peaks to Ocean Depths is a 6-week immersive gap year program for individuals aged 17–22, offering hands-on experience in filmmaking across Hong Kong, China, and the Philippines. Participants will complete four major film projects, building skills in directing, editing, drone operation, and underwater cinematography. The journey begins in Hong Kong with storytelling and production fundamentals, then moves to Yunnan Province for cultural and documentary work. From there, the group explores the dramatic landscapes of Tiger Leaping Gorge through adventure filmmaking. The final chapter unfolds in the Philippines, where participants earn scuba certifications and create underwater films in marine conservation settings. This program blends creative expression with cultural exploration—ideal for aspiring filmmakers seeking to build a standout portfolio and share stories that matter.
