Join United Planet on a gap year volunteer program in Ghana!
United Planet offers 6-12 month volunteer projects in Ghana for those planning a gap year. Ghana is one of the most peaceful western Africa nations, yet is still suffering from high poverty rates. As a volunteer in Ghana, you will be able to provide help where it is needed the most by taking part in a variety of volunteer projects and working with local community members to bring about sustainable change.
Long-term volunteering can ensure a true immersion experience by giving volunteers the opportunity to learn about local culture and history, and pick up some language skills! 6-12 month volunteer options are available to US and Canadian citizens and residents.
