Hybrid Gap Year Experience for Young Adult Men in Puerto Rico

Point School Puerto Rico is a hybrid gap year program for young adult males, ages 18-22. Our unique program is based on building and maintaining a positive self-identity through cultural immersion, experiential and service learning, and individualized character strength development.

Experience authentic Puerto Rican culture through conversational Spanish language and community integration, cooking classes, salsa lessons, and learning about the socioeconomics of the island.

Explore many activities such as SCUBA certifications, surfing, fishing, paddle boarding, swimming, kayaking, hiking, golfing, snorkeling, etc.

Participate in volunteer opportunities and unpaid internships to gain experience in fields of interest, build resumes, gain professional skills, and find fulfillment in a career.

Develop a positive self-identity through these experience that will amplify character strengths, build self-efficacy, boost confidence, and encourage intrinsic motivation!
