Bolivia - Teen Learning Community

The 2018 Bolivia-Bold is a 20-day “temporary learning-community”. This is our fastest and boldest retreat yet! Known as a land of soaring contrasts and exhilarating extremes, Bolivia is filled with adventure at every twist and turn. From diverse activities and spectacular wildlife to beautiful indigenous villages and unique cultural experiences, there is something to learn and experience in every moment.

Bolivia is a country that is dominated by the altiplano (high mountain plateau), yet possessing plains and valleys, and whose ethnic roots are Aymara. Our Project World School community will explore all of it. Bolivia boasts a mixed legendary heritage that both grants the country its identity and engages it in a deeply rooted syncretism. Bolivia has Lake Titicaca, the Uyuni salt flats, the Andes, and the Amazon. Bolivia is world famous for its folklore and dances, ancient traditions and mysterious history, progressive indigenous centered politics and human rights.
