When you join JADE, you join a small, select cohort of high school students from around the world, with the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Mandarin and Chinese culture in Beijing, China’s ancient capital and modern hub of politics, culture, and technology.
During your semester at the International School of Beijing (ISB), you will live with welcoming, Mandarin-speaking host families; take challenging academic courses alongside ISB peers; accelerate your Mandarin learning through a Chinese program specially designed for JADE students.
Inspired by jade, a symbol of wisdom and virtue, the JADE Program deepens your understanding of China. You will be the JADE Ambassador who helps build meaningful connections between China and your home country.
