About Program
Welcome to La Pura Vida! Upon arrival, you are quickly struck by this small country’s natural beauty and the warmth of its people. Zip-line through the Cloud Forest, whitewater raft the exotic Pacuare River, rappel down waterfalls and surf at world-famous Tamarindo Beach on this Costa Rica adventure
This program is available to students completing grades 9, 10 and 11. Participants can join us for 14 days or 20 days.
Program Highlights
- Zip-line and hike through the Monteverde Cloud Forest.
- Horseback ride through a Costa Rican forest.
- Whitewater raft thrilling rapids on the Pacuare River.
- Experience waterfall rappelling & canyoning by Arenal Volcano.
- Enjoy a volcanic mud bath.

A pioneer of ecotourism, Costa Rica draws many tourists to its extensive series of national parks and other protected areas. Costa Rica began reversing deforestation in the 1990s, and they are moving towards using only renewable energy. Head to the cloud forest, relax on the beautiful beaches, or visit a coffee farm.
