Intern in Belize with CELA

Belize is a great place to do an internship as English is the national language, the people are very friendly and there is much to see and do in the developing nation. The Center for Engaged Learning Abroad is your one stop connection for Belize.

Internships allow you to immerse yourself in Belizean culture, learn how agencies function in a new environment, develop new skills, and be a part of the development of Belize. CELA will place you with an agency in your area of interest and you will work on a significant project for that agency. Internships can last from a minimum of two (2) weeks to eight (8) weeks. Interns are placed with host families to ensure a rich cultural and personal experience of Belize. If you want to improve your Spanish, ask for a Spanish speaking host family.
