Government Hospital Internship in Ghana

Hospitals in Ghana are always in need o support staff. Volunteers go a long way to help the hospital staff and also in turn learn about the Ghanaian way of medical procedure. Volunteers will assist in most medical procedures along side local qualified Doctors and nurses.

Volunteers work in government hospitals which is always packed with many different people and ailments. Volunteers can choose which department they want to intern or volunteer in. Depending on your qualifications, you can either work alone or with a team of doctors and nurses.

Some departments demand work to be done alone, others require assistance. As a volunteer you will work with peadiatrics departments, labour wards, emmergency unit among others. smart white sneakers are also needed. volunteers can wear "normal" clothes to work and change when they are in the hospital.
