Why did you decide to study abroad in England?

I decided to study in England for a couple of reasons, the main one being the language. I wanted my study abroad experience to focus on getting a new perspective on my art, and to learn more about another culture without having a language barrier. England also has a lot to offer to the contemporary art scene, I wanted to be a direct part of the new way of thinking.

What made studying in England a unique and special experience?

Nothing I could say in words could describe how studying in England has and will change my life. England in particular is this funny mix of old and new. The culture old and rich, but then at the same time the younger generation brings a modern fling to how society works. It's not like the rest of the EU at all, it's its own thing, and I believe people here like it to be known as that.

How did this experience impact your academic development?

While I am here I am learning so much about myself, others, and my medium. For myself, I now want to travel to as many places as possible. I can't get over how being here makes me crave adventure and knowledge of new places. I am also very lucky to be in my course, because I am learning a lot about digital media. I know I will be able to use my knowledge here to make me more marketable to a company I'd like to work for. I also believe that by going abroad I am way more confident, and I have a better understanding of the world around me, which will help me professionally and personally.
