What is your favorite travel memory?
One of my favorite travel memories is my first time arriving in China as a student. Every day felt like an adventure because everything was new—the language, the food, the culture, even simple daily routines. From ordering meals with basic Mandarin to navigating the bustling streets, every experience was exciting and eye-opening. It challenged me to adapt, step out of my comfort zone, and ultimately made me stronger and more confident.
How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?
Working at SN Mandarin has deepened my understanding of language education and cultural exchange. I've developed stronger communication skills, adapted to diverse student needs, and gained experience in educational content creation. This role has also enhanced my ability to create engaging learning experiences and support students in achieving their goals.
What is the best story you've heard from a return student?
One of the best stories I’ve heard is about a student who joined our Flexible 12 program for just one semester. With dedication and the support of our instructors, she successfully passed HSK 5 within that short time. Her progress was so impressive that she secured a job in China immediately after completing the program, proving how effective and practical our courses are for real-world situations.
If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?
If I could join any program at SN Mandarin, I would choose the Intensive Chinese 20 course. It offers a perfect balance of structured learning and free time to explore Shanghai (after 1 pm it's free time)! With 20 lessons per week, it provides solid progress while allowing time for cultural immersion—an ideal way to improve Chinese in a short time!
What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?
SN Mandarin stands out for its flexible and personalized approach to Chinese language learning. Unlike traditional programs, we offer customized courses, small class sizes, and engaging cultural experiences that make learning both effective and enjoyable.
I was especially proud of our team when they quickly adapted to online teaching during global travel restrictions.
What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?
I believe the biggest factor in a successful company is a strong commitment to student success and adaptability. At SN Mandarin, we prioritize personalized learning, cultural immersion, and flexible programs to meet diverse student needs. By continuously improving our methods and listening to feedback, we create an engaging and effective learning experience that keeps students motivated and achieving their goals.
