What is your favorite travel memory?

My favorite travel memory is from a visit to a slum village on the Red River Delta. While the children don't have proper education and often have to quit school early to help their parents with house work, I loved their warm smile and their optimism. They made me feel like life is all about happiness and made me realize that it doesn't matter who you are, what you do, or where you stay - as long as you are happy.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I have gained a lot of practical working experience and skills with Vina Volunteer Service. Firstly, I can't believe how quickly my English has improved. On the other hand, I have also improved my online marketing skills in areas such as SEO, email marketing, social media marketing. Moreover, I can now do research about new placements in term of activities, logistic travel, and so on.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

A return student named Tommy told me about how much he had changed after a month doing volunteer work in Mai Chau, Vietnam. He lives in the city where farming work is unusual to see. After getting involved in this kind of work, he now understands the hardship of being a farmer. At the same time, he loved the friendly, warm hearted locals who were always smiling. It allowed him to begin living life with a more positive attitude, and was a life changing experience for him.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I would choose Volunteer in Vietnam Organic Farming. I do love farming work very much, it makes me feel like I am in my hometown.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

We are unique because we simply love what we do, we love our customers. It's all about love and happiness. On the other hand, we have a great passion for what we are doing. I was proud of my team especially when we were all together for the holidays, and could share this happiness with each other.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Happiness and passion.
