What is your favorite travel memory?

My first day in Cape Town, I went up Table Mountain, around Robben Island, and I had the great fortune of meeting Archbishop Desmond Tutu. It was a beautiful, challenging, and rewarding day that will stay with me forever.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I have gained a deeper insight into the care and attention paid to our programs. Everyone on the staff truly cares for our Experimenters and their experiences. It is the cornerstone of our work and is always held at the center of our organization.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

Netherlands: LGBTQ+ Rights & Dutch Culture. This program delves into topics relevant and crucial to young folks. It would be amazing to spend a summer learning more about LGBTQ+ rights while traveling around the Netherlands!

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

The Experiment has an 85+ year history of leading high school students abroad. With its long history in the field of experiential learning, it does not rest on its laurels! The organization is always striving to improve, meet interest, and being a leader in the field.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

The biggest factor for a successful company is the passion of the staff. The Experiment’s staff are dedicated, caring, and professional. Our passion drives our collaboration, programs, and the students’ experience.
